Trello attachment limits
- Free plan: 10 MB per file. There is no total storage cap — only the per-file limit.
- Standard, Premium and Enterprise: 250 MB per file.
The target here is set just under 10 MB so the file is accepted on any plan.
What fits into 10 MB
- A screen recording of a few minutes — UI barely moves, so it needs very few bits. Keep Resolution: Original so small text stays readable.
- About a minute of phone video at 720p with sound, or longer without sound.
Longer clip? Keep only the part that matters (Advanced settings → Trim, split & name) or split it into several 10 MB parts and attach them one after another.
Alternative for big files
For a full-length video, attach a link from Google Drive, Dropbox or OneDrive instead — Trello shows it as a card attachment too.
